Justin and I kicked off the new year in Jan. 2023 with teaching a workshop for kids at the California Educational Theatre Association Festival called, "Bringing Characters to Life: A Meisner-Based Approach to Character Development and Self Care". The purpose of this workshop was to provide actors with tools and techniques for bringing characters to life on stage, using the Meisner technique as a framework for building authenticity and connection. The workshop also focused on helping actors practice self care and boundary setting in order to maintain their emotional well-being while exploring character development. It was a full workshop and we received great feedback! We hope to be back next year!
